HOAX or REAL?
I’ve done some research on this message and it appears to be like “Facebook Clickjacking Attacks”. Check out this article and how you can fix it. The only way those get reposted is by clicking on them. The easiest way to avoid such attacks is to be careful on what links you click on Facebook and to always be wary of suspicious links and websites. This article describes how Clickjacking functions: http://www.thatsnonsense.com/viewdef.php?article=facebook_clickjacking_attacks
Hoax-Slayer, also says “Reposting this message will help no one”. Moreover, there are no credible computer security reports about a Facebook account hijacking campaign like the one alluded to in the message. If you do think you were a victim, you probably clicked something you shouldn’t have and likely unknowingly granted a rogue app permission to post on your behalf. It was *NOT* “hackers”
ATTENTION: THE HACKERS ARE PUTTING SEXUAL VIDEOS TO YOUR NAME IN THE WALLS / PROFILES OF YOUR FRIENDS WITHOUT YOU KNOWING IT. YOU DONT SEE IT, BUT OTHER PEOPLE CAN SEE IT, AS IF THESE WERE A PUBLICATION THAT YOU MADE! ALSO, THEY’RE SENDING INBOX MSGS TO YOUR FRIENDS ASKING YOU TO CLICK A LINK. DON’T DO IT!! SO IF YOU RECEIVE SOMETHING FROM ME ABOUT A VIDEO OR A STRANGE INBOX MESSAGE, IT’S NOT ME! copy this in your wall. It is for the security of YOUR OWN IMAGE!!! And REPORT IT!!!!! ALSO IF U ARE ASKED TO VOTE ON A PICTURE. DO NOT GO & VOTE: IT’S A HACKER!! POST THIS TO YOUR WALL FOR YOUR FRIENDS.
WARNING: This is completely fake, do not panic after reading this on your friends wall and spread it, you will be spreading a hoax!
In the meantime, you can tighten your Facebook security with the help of security settings provided by Facebook team. I’ll update this topic as more info becomes available.
